Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. As a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective therapeutic interventions to children, adolescents, and families struggling with mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for children and adolescents with mental health concerns.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, psychotherapists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in clinical leadership and service development, contributing to the advancement of mental health service frontiers.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new services and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Full GMC license and CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Section 12 approval and AC.
  • Recent and relevant experience providing safe and effective interventions to improve the lives of individuals and families struggling with mental health difficulties.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to support and advise the multidisciplinary team, as well as contribute to the development of new initiatives and ways of working.
