Job Title: Health & Safety Manager

Black Fox Solutions is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their dynamic team. This role will be based in Armagh, Northern Ireland.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Health & Safety Manager to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on our construction sites. The successful candidate will play a critical role in promoting a safe working environment, conducting risk assessments, and implementing health and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Site Safety Management: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, identify potential hazards, and implement measures to mitigate risks.
  • Risk Assessments and Audits: Perform detailed risk assessments and safety audits on construction sites, develop and implement corrective actions to address any identified safety issues, and monitor and report on the effectiveness of safety measures.
  • Training and Education: Conduct health and safety training sessions for site staff and subcontractors, promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement, and provide guidance and support to project teams on health and safety matters.
  • Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures, ensure compliance with NEBOSH standards and ISO guidelines, and keep up to date with the latest health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH certification is required.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in the construction industry with on-site experience is essential.
  • Must hold an Irish passport for ease of travel within Europe.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively across Europe.
