We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Health and Safety Officer to join our dynamic team at Black Fox Solutions. This role requires extensive travel across our data centre projects in Europe, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Finland, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Site Safety Management: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, identify potential hazards, and implement measures to mitigate risks.
- Risk Assessments and Audits: Perform detailed risk assessments and safety audits on construction sites, develop and implement corrective actions to address any identified safety issues, and monitor and report on the effectiveness of safety measures.
- Training and Education: Conduct health and safety training sessions for site staff and subcontractors, promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement, and provide guidance and support to project teams on health and safety matters.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures, ensure compliance with NEBOSH standards and ISO guidelines, and keep up to date with the latest health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- NEBOSH certification is required.
- Knowledge of ISO standards is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in the construction industry with on-site experience is essential.
- Must hold an Irish passport for ease of travel within Europe.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel extensively across Europe.
- Competitive salary (pro-rata based on Irish or UK payroll)
