About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated individual to join our QHSE Department as a Quality Control Specialist in our Aberdeen Workshop.
The successful candidate will support and manage quality control systems for manufactured products, ensuring incoming products meet specifications through visual and dimensional inspections, and addressing any required adjustments.
The role involves verifying that manufactured parts comply with both company and customer quality standards before shipment, accurately completing and distributing all required documentation, and confirming that all quality procedures are thoroughly followed and applied prior to product dispatch.
This is a varied role that requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
Responsibilities
- Conducting quality inspections on incoming products and manufactured parts
- Verifying compliance with quality standards and making recommendations for improvement
- Completing and distributing quality documentation, including inspection reports and certificates of conformance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues
- Maintaining accurate records and databases related to quality control processes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of quality control principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with quality management systems and ISO 9001
