We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in the Environment Business, working on our South West Water Frameworks. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment on water treatment, wastewater treatment, and other industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out mechanical installations and maintenance to the required standard and within the required time frame.
- Complete site documentation as required and red-line on-site 'Issued for Construction' drawings, marking them 'As-Built'.
- Check all goods delivered to site are supplied as per order, identifying changes to the works information and reporting to the Site Supervisor/Manager.
- Work collaboratively with the Site Supervisor/Manager and Project Engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
We are looking for a proactive team player with a strong mechanical installation and maintenance background. You will have a 'can-do' attitude, good time management and communication skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in confined spaces and holding a CSCS skills card and City & Guilds Confined Space Training are desirable.
