Job Overview

We are seeking to appoint a full-time administrative professional to join our Spinal Surgery Team working across multiple hospital sites. The successful candidate will be required to work from the office on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide an efficient and effective clinical administration service to the department, consultants, and wider clinical team.
  • Attend to patients, colleagues, and referrers to the service promptly and courteously at all times.
  • Work closely with staff in the service to ensure compliance with referral to treatment (RTT) targets.
  • Support patients under the clinicians' care by administering relevant diagnostic investigations and expediting appointments/surgery as necessary.
  • Have an overview of all workflows in the admin team and provide an excellent cohesive service to patients and colleagues.
  • Work closely with each member of the admin team to understand their role and support them.
