We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our client's team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finances and payroll, which is currently outsourced to a firm of chartered accountants.
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will implement new accounting software systems and procedures, including ledger transactions, cash flow management, and forecasting. You will also be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts for the organization's network of branches, with detailed analysis of income vs expenditure.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day finances and payroll
- Implement new accounting software systems and procedures
- Produce the monthly management accounts for the organization's network of branches
- Work closely with the Managing Director to bring the accounting processes in-house
- Bring the payroll back in-house, currently outsourced to a 3rd party payroll provider
To be successful in this role, you will need to be at least a part-qualified accountant with proven experience in bookkeeping and a strong focus on payroll. You will also need to be able to set up and produce the monthly management accounts for an expanding business.
You will be a commercially aware accountant with a strong understanding of financial management and a ability to work closely with all areas of the business.
What We OfferWe offer a flexible benefits package, including hybrid working and a salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
