About This Role:
">We are seeking a skilled freelancer to join our team of interpreters. As an interpreter, you will work with clients across various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation and other public and private organisations. You will be responsible for providing high-quality interpretation services, while also enjoying the flexibility of working on a self-employed basis.
Responsibilities:

- Interpreting for people using legal, health and local government services">
- Checking the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence">
- Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting">
- Dealing with highly confidential information">
- Liaising between the service user and service provider">
Requirements:

- Fluent in English and another language">
- All applicants must have the right to work in the UK">
- You must be aged 21 or over">
- Formal qualifications such as:">
- ">
- Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)">
- Community Interpreting">
- NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered is advantageous">
- Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages">
- Any other interpreting related qualification">
- A competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience">
