About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Soft Facilities team at Amman Valley Hospital. As a Soft Facilities Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital and providing a food and beverage service to inpatients.
Main Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- General cleaning of wards and departments
- Preparing and serving patient food and beverages
- Responding to requests for unscheduled cleaning
- Working as a team with clinical staff to ensure patient care

Person Specification
We are looking for someone with:
- Literacy and numeracy skills
- Basic Health and Safety, COSHH, Moving and Handling, and Food Hygiene knowledge
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
We would welcome applications from individuals with:
- Good level of general education
- Basic IT skills
- Level 2 Food Safety Award
- Range of cleaning skills using mechanical equipment
Language Skills
We value bilingualism and would welcome applications from Welsh speakers.
