- Regular participation in improvement activities as part of a multi-disciplined team on existing facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities include the installation of identified improvement actions and customer-driven product changes while minimizing the effect on facility output. Additionally, creation and control of prototype parts, tooling, and equipment feasibility analysis and buy-off activities are key aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead or assist in the introduction of new products, tooling, and manufacturing facilities in line with SQCD targets.
- Support all manufacturing lines to achieve safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Design, manufacture, and commission facility, fixture, and tooling improvements or new concepts.
A good working knowledge of metal forming, fabrication, and assembly processes is essential. A solid background in manufacturing and project improvement activities, with CAD experience highly beneficial, is also required.
Requirements:- HNC / Degree in a Mechanical or Production Engineering discipline.
Job Tenure: Permanent
Salary: £39,000 - £41,500 per annum + Comprehensive benefits package
