About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement and Contracts Manager to join our client's property services division. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for procurement, contract management, and budgeting for large-scale construction projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage budgets and develop financial plans for construction projects\
  • Liaise with operational teams to ensure works are completed on time and within budget\
  • Reconcile cost/value reports and profit forecasts\
  • Work closely with clients to ensure project deliverables meet their expectations\
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to drive value for money\
  • Monitor and control expenditure to ensure projects stay within budget\
  • Oversee the entire contracting process from tender to final delivery\
  • Maintain accurate records of project performance and provide regular reporting to stakeholders\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices\
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members to help them develop their skills and expertise\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve your knowledge and skills\
  • Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and success\
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement\
  • Support the development and implementation of new business strategies and initiatives\
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery\
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards\
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget and business plan\
  • Provide input into the creation of tenders, proposals, and other marketing materials\
  • Participate in business reviews and contribute to strategic decision-making processes\
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for growth and development\

  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management\
