Role Overview

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for learning and curiosity in students.
  • Utilize effective assessment strategies to identify and address knowledge gaps, ensuring all students achieve their full potential.
  • Support the school's behaviour policy by creating a calm and respectful learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and cross-curricular initiatives.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, contributing to the wider educational experience for students.

Requirements
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver inspiring Science lessons.
  • Show commitment to supporting students of all abilities, including those with SEND.
  • Exhibit effective classroom management skills, aligned with the school's focus on respect and behaviour standards.
  • Dedicate to ongoing professional development and collaborative working.

Estimated Salary

$43,913 - $60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
