Job Description

A competitive salary of approximately 72,500 is available for this exciting role as a Strategic Indirect Procurement Specialist.

This position is located in West London with a hybrid working pattern that includes 10 days per month in the office.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have full ownership of all marketing and commercial buying category indirect procurement activities. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coaching and developing one direct report.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Full ownership of the indirect procurement function within the UK business.
  • Taking responsibility for the UK spend in Marketing, Events and Exhibits, Trade Marketing, and Commercial spends.
  • Supporting the CFO with any ad-hoc procurement projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with all business requirements.

In this role, you will also be responsible for all 360-degree indirect procurement activity within the UK. This includes:

  • Full ownership of the UK sourcing plan.
  • Reviewing all purchase requisitions.
  • Completing vendor due diligence.
  • Building strong supplier relations.
  • Looking for opportunities for continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an independent thinker who can work in a complex matrix organisation. The ideal candidate will have high levels of personal integrity and accountability – leading by example.

You will also need to be a strong leader, helping to support and develop your direct report. Experience working within in the indirect procurement channel is essential.

A good working knowledge of the 'procure to pay' process and experience working with purchase requisition orders are also required.
