Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Design Engineer to join our team at GlobalTech Recruitment. As a key member of our Systems Design team, you will be responsible for driving project progress in the area of systems design engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with System Design and Equipment Design teams to evolve system architecture in a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Agile environment.
  • Capture system interface requirements and define them in interface documents like Interface Data Documents (IDDs) and System Interface Documents (SIDs).
  • Manage requirements via Jira and other traceability tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system design meets project requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain system design documentation, including system architecture diagrams and technical specifications.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the V-cycle and experience working across the V-cycle.
  • Excellent knowledge of requirements gathering, management, and tracking.
  • Experience in Model-Based System Development environments.
  • Excellent Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.
  • Good knowledge of thermal engineering, high-voltage and low-voltage electrical design.
  • Good knowledge of safety analysis techniques, including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Failure Mode and Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
  • Good knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems design engineering, with a focus on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Agile development.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality system design solutions in a fast-paced environment.
