**Job Opportunity**
Morson Talent is currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Calibration Professional to join their team in Cranfield. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of £45 per hour for a long-term contract role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing R&D test equipment used for prototype motor vehicle testing and development, conducting calibrations, and preparing quality-assured certificates. Key requirements include a BTEC qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and experience using Microsoft software packages.
Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage R&D test equipment for prototype motor vehicle testing and development
- Conduct calibrations and work towards UKAS accreditation / ISO17025 quality systems
- Prepare quality-assured calibration and test certificates
- Ensure efficient daily laboratory operations within agreed turnaround times, adhering to technical standards and internal quality standards
Requirements:**
- BTEC qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline
- PC literate, with experience using Microsoft software packages
- Proficient in MS Excel for data management and producing graphs
