Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve a high standard of care for our residents.
  • Lead the care team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • Maintain effective communication, both verbal and written, ensuring accurate reports on residents and informing the senior care team of day-to-day changes.
  • Manage wounds and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure care procedures are carried out according to policy.
  • Administer and record medicines according to policy and statutory requirements.
  • Provide personal care for residents, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Offer physical, emotional, and spiritual comfort to residents.
  • Carry out staff supervision and appraisals.
  • Implement routine changes and procedures as agreed with the manager.
  • Assess prospective residents and complete duty rota as necessary.
  • Conduct internal quality audits as agreed with the manager.
  • Participate in training and development of all staff levels.
  • Assist the manager in working within agreed budgets.
