Senior Enterprise Data Architect

National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is seeking a Senior Enterprise Data Architect to join their CIO function under the Enterprise Architecture team. The successful candidate will steer business stakeholders towards making informed decisions around technology, engaging with business, scientific, and IT stakeholders to discover their processes, information systems, and constraints.

The role involves maintaining diagrams and databases for enterprise architecture artifacts, providing oversight to technology integration projects, and performing initial project engagements with business stakeholders to ensure re-use of cataloged technology solutions.

Key projects include ERP2, integrating HRIS, e-Commerce, CRM, and other business systems with Dynamics 365, and Digital and Data Strategy, shaping the future and laying the foundations for NPL's journey to digitising a legacy lab estate.

The ideal candidate has a previous background in senior IT engineering, is trustworthy, and excels at building business relationships. Experience in data visualisation software, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SalesForce, Microsoft Azure, SQL, and operating systems is required.
