We are seeking an experienced and skilled Early Years Education Specialist to join our team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to work as an Apprenticeship Tutor, delivering the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship programme via a blended learning approach across South East England.
As an Early Years Education Specialist, you will be responsible for mentoring learners during their work placements and ensuring they are in a safe environment where they can progress and learn.
You will also deliver high-quality courses, materials, and opportunities to all learners, while actively seeking to eliminate any indirect or direct discriminatory practice or behaviours.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship programme.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records for each individual learner.
- Provide progression, retention, and achievement information for the course being taught.
- Undertake initial assessments of learners to ascertain their starting point on the course.
- Assess learner's performance in the workplace.
- Work with employers to manage a caseload of learners.
You will also be required to provide on-going information, advice, and guidance to learners to help them reach their aspirations.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A teaching qualification at Level 3/5 or similar.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- At least five years' experience working in an education environment with a demonstrable track record of successful outcomes.
- Proven experience of successfully managing the full learner journey, including classroom and 1:1 delivery.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about education and has a strong understanding of functional skills, specifically legacy English, and Maths.
