Job Overview
ADM is seeking a skilled Mill Operative to join our team in Edinburgh, UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene on site.
Your Responsibilities
- Adhere to our "zero is acceptable" safety policy to ensure a safe working environment.
- Contribute to maintaining a high standard of cleaning and hygiene on site, including GMP audits and accurate record keeping.
- Assist the Technical Services Supervisor in effective pest control management.
- Complete the hygiene schedule and communicate with department heads to identify priorities.
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness of site facilities, including office cleaning, toilets, locker room, and canteen.
- Contribute to effective waste and environmental control, including good segregation and disposal procedures.
- Coordinate with the waste recycling contractor and order skips as needed.
- Control relevant consumable stocks and participate in site IPM activities.
- Cover for weighbridge and flour testing on an ad hoc basis.
