Job Summary:

The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing evidence-based patient care during the peri-operative period. As a member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will work collaboratively to meet patient needs. The position also includes assisting in surgical care and other satellite areas such as X-Ray and Obstetrics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Assist in clinical and satellite area management
  • Participate in staff education and development

Requirements:

  • NMC registered nurse / HCPC registered ODP
  • Teaching, mentoring, assessing qualification (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of the role within a theatre environment
  • Theatre experience (Desirable)
  • Good communication skills
  • Awareness of competence limitations
  • Motivated
