We are seeking an ESG Assurance Expert to join our dynamic team in the Corporate Assurance department.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing assurance services for GHG/ESG information to multinational clients across various sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their skills and expertise in assurance procedures, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Project Managers with day-to-day delivery of 3rd party assurance engagements for GHG/ESG information.
  • Perform assurance procedures across multiple projects, including media research, analytical data review, evidence collection, site visits, and disclosure review.
  • Maintain documentation and project files in line with independent assurance standards and internal quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues during client head office and site-level visits, and occasionally lead assurance teams under their guidance.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability in data and spreadsheet analysis (Microsoft Excel) and demonstrated writing and communication skills.
  • A broad interest in sustainability and societal challenges, with an understanding of business issues (governance, environment, health and safety, human rights, supply chain management, and community relations).
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to support and manage tasks across multiple projects in parallel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute enthusiastically to our growing business.
  • Willingness to travel for visits to client head offices and operational sites, sometimes at short notice.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of auditing or assurance standards used for sustainability/GHG reporting (ISAE3000, ISAE3410, ISO14064:3, PCAOB Attestation Standards).
  • Technical knowledge of environmental impacts and emissions, including climate change and GHG.

An estimated salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
