Job Title: ICT/AV Technician

Job Summary:

The ICT/AV Technician will provide technical support services to all departments, members of staff, pupils, and other stakeholders in the school. This includes specialized ICT and AV tasks, health and safety, provision and organization of materials and equipment, and financial responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality ICT and AV support services to meet the needs of the school community.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of ICT and AV systems, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff and pupils on the effective use of ICT and AV systems.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of ICT and AV equipment and software.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in ICT and AV technologies, including hardware, software, and networking.
  • Proven experience in providing technical support services in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, pupils, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Working Arrangements:

The ICT/AV Technician will work 36.25 hours per week, with a starting salary of £30,005 per annum. The role will involve working in a school environment, with occasional travel to other sites as required.
