About the Role

Nacro is a national social justice charity with over 50 years of experience in changing lives, building stronger communities, and reducing crime. We are seeking a skilled Housing Support Professional to join our team in the East of England.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver effective support and safety plans with service users, referring to specialist agencies as needed.
  • Ensure properties are adequately equipped, maintained, furnished, and cleaned.
  • Support residents to understand their responsibilities and help them keep their CAS-2 and future accommodation.
  • Empower and motivate service users to identify and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Develop a move-on plan with service users, identifying realistic options for their future home.

  • Understanding and commitment to Nacro's values.
  • Knowledge of issues affecting people in contact with the criminal justice system and/or experiencing homelessness.
  • Ability to develop person-centered support and move-on planning.
  • Understanding of housing management, housing-related support, and safeguarding.
  • Ability to work with vulnerable adults with complex needs.
  • Flexibility to travel within your allocated patch for training and team meetings.
