About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Housing Manager to join our team at Housing 21. As a key member of our Extra Care team, you will be responsible for ensuring our residents receive a high-quality and responsive service in a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a small team of housing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Provide a professional and high-quality housing service to older and/or vulnerable people, promoting independence and choice.
  • Ensure landlord duties are discharged in accordance with Housing 21 policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of housing strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Experience of supervising and managing a small team, ideally within an organisation providing Social Housing.
  • Experience of providing a professional, high-quality housing service to older and/or vulnerable people.
  • Experience of Housing Management & Maintenance.
  • Experience of Housing aid and advice.
  • Experience of working within a secure and confidential environment and dealing with sensitive personal information.
  • Good general standard of education with GCSE's (Grade C or above) in English and Maths.
  • Substantial administrative experience.
  • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Knowledge of the Social Housing Sector and the relevant Legislation and regulations.
