Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Ledger Manager to join our team at Page Personnel. As a key member of our credit control department, you will be responsible for managing a ledger, ensuring prompt and accurate debt recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Credit Control: Proactively chase outstanding debt to ensure timely payment.
  • Cash Management: Post and allocate cash receipts to ledgers, control unallocated cash, and reconcile accounts.
  • Account Management: Investigate and resolve customer queries, maintain and update customer records.
  • Internal Liaison: Collaborate with internal teams to manage customer accounts, ensuring all actions meet agreed SLA/KPIs.
  • Reporting: Collate and review ledger information, reporting key issues and recommendations to the Credit Control Manager.
  • Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of customer accounts, resolving any queries efficiently.
  • Month-End and Year-End: Work closely with the finance department to meet critical month-end and year-end deadlines.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will work independently, but as part of a dedicated team, reporting directly to the Credit Control Manager.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven background in Credit Control with the ability to work independently.
  • Communication: Excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
