Consultant Cardiologist with an interest in Interventional Cardiology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Cardiologist to join our team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver approximately 1750 coronary interventions and 2500 diagnostic cardiac catheterisations annually
- Participate in a 1 in 9 on-call rota for acute interventional cardiology at UHW
- Take a lead role in the rapid access chest pain service
- Contribute to the development of our services and participate in clinical audit and research
- On GMC Specialist Register for specialty / Specialist Registrar with CCT/CESR(CP) due within 6 months of interview date
- MRCP (UK) or equivalent
- Broad training and experience in the practice of clinical cardiology including interventional cardiology
- Recognised ability as a clinical cardiologist and interventional cardiologist
