About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pricing Manager to join our team at Speedy Hire. As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that maximize revenue and profit for the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing market trends, customer behavior, competitor actions, and internal costs to determine optimal prices for various products and services
  • Monitoring competitors' pricing and positioning, identifying opportunities and threats
  • Developing pricing models and scenarios based on cost, value, and demand factors
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align pricing objectives and strategies with business goals and customer expectations
  • Communicating and explaining pricing decisions and rationale to internal and external stakeholders
  • Evaluating the impact and effectiveness of pricing actions and making adjustments as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards and regulations regarding pricing
Requirements
  • Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant
  • Intellect and commercial/financial acumen to contribute and provide support to the wider team
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel with ability to work with large data sets and produce financial models
  • Experience in pricing, revenue management, or business analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of pricing software and platforms is a plus
