Warehouse Operative

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team in the manufacture department at Clayton Park Bakery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform weekly stock checks and organise freezer and fridge stock with the Warehouse/Stores Manager
• Quality check raw products and update goods in and out on computer software Stevens's system
• Record and reduce waste, improving recycling
• Maintain Food safety and Hygiene standards
• Provide requirements for production at neighbouring bakery in Huncoat
• Ensure stock is ordered when required
• Compliant with all Health and safety regulations
• Working/supporting in production if and when required
• To follow COVID government guidelines

Requirements

• A warehouse/stores background within a food environment
• FLT experience/previous license
• Knowledge of Food safety & Quality Hygiene standards
• Awareness of Health and Safety at work
• Reliable – You will be providing supplies to other departments/bakeries/stores
• Trustworthy - Able to work alone or part of a team
• Be flexible, courteous, friendly and positive in your approach
• Professionalism at all times
