Job Overview

At James Hall & Co., we're passionate about delivering high-quality bakery products to our customers across the North West. As a Warehouse Operative - Production Support, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing and distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform weekly stock checks and organize freezer and fridge stock with the Warehouse and Production Manager
• Quality check raw products and update goods in and out on computer software Stevens's system
• Record and reduce waste, improving recycling
• Maintain Food safety and Hygiene standards
• Provide requirements for production at neighbouring bakery in Huncoat
• Ensure stock is ordered when required
• Compliant with all Health and safety regulations
• Work/support in production if and when required

Requirements

• Ideal warehouse/stores background within a food environment
• FLT experience/previous license
• Knowledge of Food safety & Quality Hygiene standards
• Awareness of Health and Safety at work
• Reliable – You will be providing supplies to other departments/bakeries/stores
• Trustworthy - Able to work alone or part of a team
• Be flexible, courteous, friendly and positive in your approach
• Professionalism at all times
