Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for scheduling all site activity and ensuring schedules are sufficient to deliver customer service level targets.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement planning standards to drive efficiency and effectiveness in our production processes.
  • Create and maintain master performance data sets for all SKUs and processes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Identify key problem areas and set targets to improve planning effectiveness, using data analysis to guide decisions.
  • Optimize planning systems to drive effective and efficient planning, scheduling, and material call-off.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to root cause and countermeasure repeat problems, using data analysis to inform decisions.

Requirements

  • Experience in a FMCG industry, preferably in a planning or scheduling role.
  • Understanding of OPEX and its use in optimizing production schedules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence multiple levels of the site and customers.
  • Advanced Excel capability and working knowledge of SAP or similar manufacturing systems.
