Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant special needs school. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, learning difficulties, and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support to students with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, learning difficulties, and complex needs.
  • Work closely with the classroom teacher to deliver personalized learning plans.
  • Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Help manage challenging behavior in a positive and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each student.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEND, particularly Autism and Asperger's.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to different situations.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
