We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant at a dynamic special needs school. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to students with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, learning difficulties, and complex needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement tailored learning plans, ensuring students receive the best possible education.
  • Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, fostering a sense of community among students and staff.
  • Assist students in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills, helping them to reach their full potential.
  • Use your personal experience and skills to help manage challenging behavior in a positive and constructive way.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and staff to support each student's individual needs, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to education.
