Job Title: Casual Swimming Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Casual Swimming Teacher to join our team at Bradford Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality swimming lessons for pupils with a wide range of abilities.
  • Ensure a safe environment for all users of the service.
  • Comply with the outline scheme of work and follow Bradford Aquatics swim syllabus and ASA when applicable.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons within the framework to meet National Curriculum Key stage II targets in consultation with individual schools.
  • Work at various facilities across the district, including swimming pools, as and when required.

Requirements:

  • ASA level 2 Swim Teaching Qualification or STA Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming.
  • Desirable - National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, any other relevant teachers qualification.
