Swimming Teacher/Lifeguard Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher/Lifeguard to join our team at Kings Camps. As a Swimming Teacher/Lifeguard, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and safe swimming lessons to children aged 5-17.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 30-45 minute swimming lessons to mixed ability groups
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of children at all times
  • Supervise children during lunch breaks and swimming sessions
  • Oversee the safe use of equipment and promptly record any incidents

Requirements:

  • 12 months experience as a swim teacher
  • SEQ Level 2 or STA Level 2 certification
  • Current Lifeguard Qualification: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award to Swimming Teachers and Coach (NRASTC)
  • Upwards of 6 months experience working with 5-17-year-olds
