Job Description

Job Title: Band 5 Substance Misuse Nurse

Location: Ashford

Salary: £28,407 - £34,581 per annum

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at The Forward Trust. As a Band 5 Substance Misuse Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of daily treatments and supporting service users in their recovery from drug or alcohol addiction.

Working as part of an integrated substance misuse team, you will deliver both clinical and psychosocial interventions at HMP Bronzefield. The service is delivered 7 days a week with flexible working on a rota basis, and we welcome applications from those looking for part-time and full-time work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high standards of daily treatments and support service users in their recovery from drug or alcohol addiction.
  • Work as part of an integrated substance misuse team to deliver clinical and psychosocial interventions.
  • Support service users in their recovery journey, providing a safe and non-judgmental environment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Registered nurse with a minimum of 1 year post-registration experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of substance misuse and addiction.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
