About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our D&IS team, you will be responsible for maintaining Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance across all projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide support and guidance to project teams on all aspects of EHS.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance, including risk assessments and associated controls.
  • Undertake inspections and audits to ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  • Develop and implement EHS objectives and strategies.
  • Lead and coordinate project accident investigations and near misses.
  • Manage close calls and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Support project traffic management plans and induction processes.
  • Engage with clients, contractors, and suppliers on EHS matters.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in EHS. You will have a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, and experience working with ISO14001, ISO45001, and OHSAS 18001 standards. You will also have knowledge of railway-specific standards and health and safety legislation.
