Job Overview

A leading LNG shipping company with a global presence seeks an experienced Technical Superintendent to join their team in London.

This role involves driving the safe and flawless performance of assigned vessels, ensuring timely maintenance, and promoting health and safety as corporate values.

The successful candidate will have sailed as a Chief Engineer onboard LNG Carriers and possess shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent or similar capacity.

About the Role

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technical operations for LNG vessels and a desire to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include anticipating operational requirements, ensuring certification arrangements, promoting health and safety, and providing technical support to assigned vessels.

  • Drive Safe and Flawless Performance of assigned vessels' operational requirements including Dry-dock and major repairs and scheduled and unscheduled maintenance repairs
  • Ensure arrangements in place for maintaining appropriate certification
  • Promote Health and Safety as Corporate Values
  • Provide Technical and Operational support and guidance to assigned vessels
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have sailing experience as a Chief Engineer onboard LNG Carriers and shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent or similar capacity.

You will also need a deep understanding of technical operations for LNG vessels and a desire to drive continuous improvement.
