At Manor House School, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our pupils with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs. As a member of our team, you will work closely with our experienced teachers and therapists to deliver a tailored curriculum and create a nurturing environment that promotes learning and development.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN and experience working in a school setting. You will be adaptable and able to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors, to meet the individual needs of our pupils. Our school is built on great teamwork and mutual support, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our pupils.

As a Teaching Assistant at Manor House School, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of pupils with complex needs, including social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. You will be responsible for preparing learning materials, running classroom activities, and supporting pupils with their emotional and physical needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs
  • Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver a tailored curriculum
  • Preparing learning materials and running classroom activities
  • Supporting pupils with their emotional and physical needs

Requirements:

  • GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with SEN and in a school setting
  • Adaptability and ability to work in a variety of classroom roles
