Job Description

The Bridge Project is seeking a Support Specialist to join its multi-disciplinary team delivering support to individuals affected by someone else's substance misuse.

About the Role

This permanent, part-time position requires a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work. As an integral part of the team, you will have brief interventions, assess needs and risk, provide individual support, and onward referral planning.

You will need 2 years' experience in social or healthcare settings, managing a caseload, and a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brief interventions and assessments to identify individual needs and risks
  • Providing structured programmes of individual support and onward referrals
  • Managing a caseload and prioritising tasks effectively
  • Working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality services
Requirements
  • 2 years' full-time experience in social or healthcare settings
  • Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
