Job Title: Behaviour Support Specialist
Location: Leeds and Bradford areas
We are seeking a Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at NextGen Teachers. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will be working in a mainstream school with an internal SEMH provision, providing support to pupils with behavioural issues.
This is a full-time temporary to permanent position, working Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 3:30pm with 12 weeks of holiday per year. The salary for this role is estimated to be around £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The main objective of this role is to minimise class disruptions and assist pupils to move from the provision back into their assigned classes. To achieve this, you will work closely with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to develop and implement behaviour management strategies.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working with SEMH students, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must also be willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
