The University of Cambridge's Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit is a renowned research institute with cutting-edge facilities. A short-term postdoctoral research position is available as part of the MRC Programme of Prof Rik Henson, focusing on analysing behavioural and neuroimaging data on ageing and cognition, particularly memory. The role involves working with large datasets from the CamCAN project and collaborating with experts in the field.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyse behavioural and neuroimaging data to understand the effects of ageing on cognition
  • Contribute to the development of new research projects and collaborations

This is a part-time (up to 29.6 hours per week) post for 10 months, with a high likelihood of renewal until end of March 2027. The successful candidate will have a PhD in cognitive neuroscience or a related field.

The starting salary will be approximately £36,924-£45,163 per annum pro rata, depending on qualifications and experience.
