Job Overview
This role will support patients within the community as part of the Integrated Respiratory team based at Liskeard Community hospital in Liskeard.
The postholder will provide high-quality administration support to the Respiratory clinicians and service. This includes relaying messages, supporting with triage of referrals, inputting to IT patient systems, managing incoming queries and referrals, being a point of access to patients, users and multi-disciplinary colleagues, supporting employment relations documentation and management of personnel files, and stock ordering of routine and patient specific supplies.
Key Responsibilities
- Working within the open plan office environment
- Managing email, phone, MS Teams and electronic patient systems
- Supporting clinicians with administrative tasks
- Maintaining accurate records and files
- Ordering and managing stock supplies
Requirements
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Competent in Microsoft applications
- NVQ 3 in Administration or equivalent experience
- Organisational skills and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication
