Job Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Therapy Assistant in the North Wales wide Level Weight Management for Children and Young People team based at St Asaph.

The successful applicant will have a background or interest in nutrition or physical activity and a natural quality improvement approach.

Main Duties

The Therapy Assistant will encourage children and families to increase their activity levels and make healthy food and lifestyle choices.

They will help children engage and set small, sustainable goals to improve their health whilst they attend the month Help Me To Be Healthy programme.

The role will involve various elements and may include delivering virtual group sessions via Teams (nutrition, lifestyle and exercise), administration, and close liaison with the wider multidisciplinary team.
