About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Professional to join our team at DGMHA, a registered Scottish Charity working with individuals who have complex mental health needs throughout Dumfries and Galloway.

As a key member of our team, you will provide consistent care and support for clients living in their own tenancies, transitioning from acute mental health units, and navigating social community integration. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our support meets the assessed practical and emotional needs of each individual.

In this role, you will work closely with a designated Team Leader or Deputy Team Leader, receiving full training and support to develop and drive forward personalised support plans. You will also contribute to creating a friendly, ambitious, driven, and innovative team environment that prioritizes adult wellbeing and safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored care and support to clients with complex mental health needs
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized support plans
  • Work closely with the team to ensure seamless care delivery and coordination

The ideal candidate will possess a good depth of awareness, understanding, or experience of Mental Health, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
