About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Safety Case Engineer to join our team at Jacobs. As a key member of our site team, you'll support the Safety Case Manager in preparing, implementing, and maintaining safety cases for analytical services and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality safety case advice and documentation for B229 Safety Case development and implementation.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to develop operations schedules, engineering schedules, operator instructions, maintenance instructions, and training packages.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders during safety case verification.
  • Present safety case documents to safety committees on behalf of the SCM.
  • Oversee the production and completion of Safety Case Implementation Plans (SCIPs).
  • Support the delivery of operator briefings regarding safety case changes.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies and other external stakeholders for facility safety cases.
Requirements
  • Ability to understand safety case documentation, engineering drawings, and related information.
  • Effective communication and team working skills.
  • Ability to use standard IT packages and databases.
  • Ability to work independently to high standards and in compliance with legislative, regulatory, and company policy standards.
