We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Case Advisor to join our team at the National Nuclear Laboratory. As a key member of our facility-based safety case team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist safety case advice to support the development and implementation of safety cases.
- Contribute to the review and validation of safety-related documentation, hazard assessments, and risk analyses.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define, implement, and deliver innovative solutions to complex safety problems.
- Generate necessary documentation to meet safety case requirements.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of safety cases and their development, including knowledge of radiation, contamination, and criticality hazards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with operators, customers, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain SC level security clearance.
