About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate midwife to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a midwife practitioner, you will provide high-quality care to birthing families and be dedicated to delivering evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide continuity of care, advice, and support throughout pregnancy, labour, and the postnatal period.
  • Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programs of care within the practice area.
  • Teach, motivate, and encourage high standards of practice while furthering personal knowledge and experience.
  • Contribute to the management of the practice area and promote Clinical Risk Management.
  • Support students and new members of the practice area team in a learning environment.

Requirements

  • NMC registration in the next months.
  • Precepted midwives or newly qualified midwives with a -month preceptorship program.

This job is not eligible for overseas sponsorship or for international educated midwives without a current full NMC Pin or new to midwifery practice in the UK.
