The Recruitment Co. is seeking an experienced International Trade Logistics Specialist to join their team in Ashton Under Lyne.

As an International Trade Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating shipping documentation, packaging, and logistics for various selling entities and export/import requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Raising accurate and timely shipping documentation
  • Ensuring current packaging, customs, and customer requirements are met
  • Monitoring outstanding orders for timely shipment and consolidation

You will also be responsible for managing export shipments and documentation, as well as home trade shipments and queries.

In addition, you will need to cost shipments for freight invoice authorisation and accrual purposes, assist with complex stock movements, and obtain quotes from carriers for specific shipment costings.

It is essential that you can communicate effectively with internal and external customers, produce pick sheets, delivery notes, and other relevant paperwork, and manage pick sheet release to warehouse.

You will also be responsible for ensuring labelling, transport, and customer bookings, investigating stock anomalies, and rectifying them.

Apart from these duties, you will also monitor, pick, and dispatch samples, process returns from arrival to end use, and work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £13.49 per hour.
