Residential Property Department Secretary

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced secretary to join our friendly team at our busy office in Cranbrook.
As a key member of our residential property department, you will be responsible for providing direct support to your department to enable the fee-earners to operate at optimum efficiency.
You will be required to act as a point of contact for the property department, manage incoming and outgoing post, administer filing, and use the Land Registry Portal.
Key Responsibilities- To act as a point of contact for the property department.
- To provide direct support to your department to enable the fee-earners to operate at optimum efficiency.
- Providing conveyancing quotes to prospective clients when required.
- Managing incoming and outgoing post
- Answer telephone calls promptly in a polite and confident manner
- Administering filing
- Using the Land Registry Portal
- Initial letters on sales and purchases to all applicable parties
- Drafting and sending Sale Contracts together with appropriate documentation
- Dealing with matters on the day of completion
- Prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch.
- Make appointments, arrange meeting rooms and maintain an up-to-date Calendar for your fee-earner(s)
- Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm's and client documentation and information.
Circa £25,000 per annum depending on experience.
25 days holiday and Bank holidays.
