Vehicle Damage Assessor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team at Clear Automotive. As a key member of our accident repair centre, you will be responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles, assessing the extent of the damage, and preparing estimates for repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of the damage
  • Prepare computerised and manual estimates and record these accurately
  • Obtain authority to proceed with repair from insurance companies and confirm the cost of repair
  • Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and technicians to ensure understanding of correct vehicle repair methodology
  • Ensure that any amendment to repair work is authorised by the insurance company
Requirements:
  • Audatex experience is essential
  • Experience as a VDA / Vehicle Estimator
  • ATA qualification would be an advantage
